These
babies are great - we call them our street/strip motor mounts. They are quiet and smooth for street driving and strong enough for the
strip and racing. At any level of Mustang, daily driver or
restomod etc., one area of weakness in the drive train that is often overlooked is the motor mounts. The original factory motor
mounts use bulky steel brackets and a soft rubber bushing that just
don't stand up to the high-performance motors available today. This
usually results in motor mount separation and a significant loss of
rear wheel torque and possibly serious damage to your chassis or hood. |

 AUTOWORKS
RACING solution to this decades old problem is a polyurethane bushed motor
mount that will not separate or deteriorate when subjected to the everyday
conditions of your engine compartment or high performance applications.  The
polyurethane bushings are captive mounted to make the most effective use
of the bushing. A steel sleeve insert and through bolt prevent the mount
assembly from separating even if the bushing were completely removed.
Autoworks Racing design provides near solid mount stability without the vibration and
noise normally associated with solid mounts.
Installation
Installation of AUTOWORKS RACING motor mount is
much easier than factory style mounts. The new slim through bolt design
makes lining up the mounts simple and leaves more room for working with
aftermarket headers. A quick project for the do it yourselfer!
