DIRECT BOLT ON
  A rack upgrade provides maximum accuracy and durability in all driving conditions.

Manual Rack kit pictured above: The rack mounting brackets bolt to the factory steering box mounting holes on drivers side and to drag link mounting holes on right side. This is the only rack kit we have seen that includes the steering shaft to fit inside your factory steering column.

Rack systems has now made it possible to bring new car technology to your classic Ford, handling and performance is yours in this bolt on kit. We know it is bolt in as we have installed this system to many of the application models below. Order now!

Rack systems provide a large amount of additional clearance to allow easier access and installation of most aftermarket header systems (some long tube header designs eg. Hooker long tube to suit 1969 Mustang big port Cleveland has one pipe that fouls most rack power heads).

All Shorty headers will easily clear rack installations.  All mainstream brand TriY's headers may clear rack installations.

Racks are fast ratio, constant mesh design that have fewer turns lock to lock.  Racks may match original turning radius when upgrading to struts.  Depending upon the spindle combination, Ford OEM suspension systems may reduce the turning radius by up to 3 feet.

Manual racks are the best choice for Drag Racers or no fuss street driving (super lightweight and stable at high speeds).  However, for street usage the manuals rack will decrease driver comfort, compared to the power rack system.  

Most rack kits REQUIRE NO FABRICATION and can be installed with simple hand tools. see example below
